Who we are

Quest for health is the Grand Est incubator dedicated to healthcare start-ups. Created on the initiative of the Quest for change network of incubators (located in Reims, Strasbourg, Metz, Charleville-Mézières, Epinal and Mulhouse), the incubator supports more than sixty biotech, medtech and e-health start-ups. Quest for health is the leading national player in this field.

“Quest for health is a unique opportunity for healthcare start-ups to accelerate their development at the heart of Europe, by joining a community of entrepreneurs and a healthcare ecosystem of excellence that is internationally recognised, aligned and easy to mobilise.
Our tailor-made methodology has been designed for the passionate men and women we support, who come from diverse backgrounds and profiles but share a common mission: to develop innovative solutions for the benefit of all, especially patients and healthcare professionals.
We will be at their side to help them succeed. That’s our quest!

Guillaume Vetter-Genoud – Director of Quest for health

Our mission

Quest for health offers tailor-made support for start-up projects from the moment they emerge from the laboratory (public or private), and also welcomes start-ups that have already raised their first funds, with the aim of taking them through to their first turnover or a higher round of funding.
Among the start-ups supported, 20 are winners of the national i-Lab competition (including 3 Grand Prix), 9 of the i-Nov competition and 7 of the EIC Accelerator. Over the last three years, these start-ups have raised a total of €175 million in funding and have a five-year survival rate of 90%. Around 40% of start-ups are from outside France.
Quest for health aims to develop healthcare innovation in the Grand Est region and internationally. With the support of its national and international partners, the incubator will take entrepreneurs as quickly as possible to the key milestones in the development of their project, through pragmatic, benevolent and impartial support provided by a team of experts, mainly former entrepreneurs.
Launched in December 2022, the incubator is based at nextmed, Strasbourg’s technology campus.
